Potato mochi recipe

Title:I want to make potato mochi for  school cafeteria.

The origin of potato mochi is Hokkaido in the Meiji ere. It is called "imomochi".  It uses potatoes instead of rice to make rice cakes. It is easy to make. So, it is eaten as a snack or light meal in various regions and by people of all ages.

Most of the nutrients in potatoes are carbohydrates. We feel full and satisfied when I eat. 

Potato mochi is sold in my cafeteria. It was very delicious when I ate it for the first time. I also wanted to make potato mochi. It still doesn't tadte like the potato mochi in the school cafeteria. But this time, I will introduce a recipe for potato mochi.

Measuring tablespoon

 ingredients

The recipe makes about 7

potato 3(about 600 g)

potato starch 3 teablespuoon (about 52g)

The amount you want to make.

soy source 25 cup

sugar 50 g

sweet sake 25 cup

water 50 cup

〇potatp starch 1.5 teablespoon

〇water 3 teablespoon

 

Procedures

1. First, peel the potatoes and put in pot.


2. Second, add enough water to the pot  to cover the potatoes and boil the pot.


3. Third, the potatoes become soft, throw away all the water.


4. Next, bake potatoes to make floured potatoes    and mash the it with the masher.



5. When you get a rough fever, put the potato starch and mix.


6.Then, roll the dough and Bake tha potato mochi over high heat. Bake with more oill.


7. It's done when It's browned.

 1.First , boil the source, the sugar, the sweet sake and water(not 〇 ingredients)


2. Second, turn off heat and  add the potato starch and the water ( 〇 ingredients)


3. Third, boil the pot while stirring. The fire is low.


4. Finally, pour the source on the potato mochi.


I made 7 pieces with this ingredients. It took about 2 hours.

Mash the potetoes with all your might untill there are no soild. So that makes it softer. It's delicious even if you change the source. For example, "mitarasi", "butter soy sauce", "cheese" and so on. It is easy to make. It's delicious, but you should be careful not to eat too much.

You can make  your own potato mochi! But, the potato mochi in the school cafeteria is very delicious. So please try to eat it!
